Pascals Law

One of the important hydraulic laws that dictates seal performance.

The law says, ” if you pressurize a container with a liquid, the pressure will go un-diminished in all directions”. For all practical purposes liquids are not compressible.

Pascal’s law applies to every hydraulic system you have ever seen, and explains that if the pump’s stuffing box is not leaking, the pressure is the same everywhere in the stuffing box.
