VELOCITY V012

A measurement of the speed of the liquid in the system. In USCS units we use feet per second. The metric system uses meters per second.

The liquid gets its velocity from the impeller and any pressure differential across the system. The velocity of the liquid changes as it passes through different areas inside the pump and piping.
